Deputy governor of East Kazakhstan region gets 6 years for fraud, bribery

ASTANA. April 3 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – A criminal court in Ust-Kamenogorsk has convicted first deputy governor of East Kazakhstan region and former mayor of Ust-Kamenogorsk Zhaksylyk Omar and sentenced him to six years in a penal colony, the regional court’s press service told Interfax-Kazakhstan.
